Crain’s Inspiring 20 in Their 20s list released

If you’re a so-called Millennial like me, you know it’s an eye roll-worthy cop-out to reference our generation as lazy or entitled. Many 20-somethings have the same motivational drive and entrepreneurial spirit as any generation, just with added agility of being resourceful with, and earlier adopters of technology. So seeking agile solutions to the once-taxing intricacies of the world comes naturally.

This year, Crain’s Chicago Business honors these Millennial wonders with its inaugural Crain’s 20 in Their 20s recognition. Some generation-defining Chicago locals featured are developer-to-company matchmaker, Matchist co-founder Stella Fayman; Rookie Magazine Editor-in-chief and tween media darling Tavi Gevinson (who’s only 17 by the way); and global grassroots health instigator, GlobeMed executive director Maya Cohen, to name a few.

These are the future leaders of Chicago to follow, making their mark on a ever-growing global marketplace. And we salute them.
