Get a sneak sip of BowTruss fresh off the roaster

If you’ve been following us on Instagram (Phil’s and Darren’s especially) or Facebook, you’ve seen we’ve been hard at work shipping in Fair Trade Organic coffee beans from El Salvador, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Colombia, all over—testing out various roasts for BowTruss ahead of our June 24 opening.

From recent coverage at Racked Chicago:

This will be, as Phil tells us, a classy neighborhood production facility. The shop will offer lots of education classes and be heavily interactive within the community. They’re roasting beans right now inside the space (to be for sale soon) and plan to be open on June 24.

And we’ve tasted it all, coffee with hints of citrus, berry, caramel, honey, cocoa from the uber-strong to delightfully mild. Every new batch is better than the last, which is why we’re excited to share it with you!

As you know, we’ll be serving up BowTruss at The Vintage Bazaar on June 10. But as an exclusive offer to our blog post followers, if you send us your address to phil@bowtruss.com, we’ll send you a sample bag of freshly roasted coffee. Follow BowTruss on Twitter  and Facebook for more promotions and news. It has been a really exciting process!
