StartupBus & Yeah Super, a clothing co. built on culture

As Phil travels with the 3-day startup incubator completion, StartupBus, road tripping from Boston to Austin—his team is putting the finishing touches on their business plan before presenting at SXSW’s Startup Village tomorrow.

Introducing: Yeah Super—a way iconic businesses you love can share their brands on t-shirts, accompanied by the story of that cherished beer garden, famed record shop, rave-worthy hotdog joint, whatever. Yeah Super aims to make more than just shirts, but tell the stories of these local haunts from around the world, a new spot every day, with a strong mobile e-commerce component.

While the storeowners get a new revenue stream for just providing Yeah Super with their logos, the t-shirt company lets fans of those shops enjoy a fresh new tee—boasting their loyalty.

The businesses simply provide a logo and tidbits of greatness from their history, and they receive not only a 50% share of profits but also a super easy way to outfit their followers in cool t-shirts. An ever-growing catalog of cool merch serves as a cult-favorite reference point.
