Some background
Doejo started a few years ago when founder & Creative Director Phil Tadros was building a team to launch the city-based social network, Metroproper. Since then, Doejo has grown to become a prolific digital services agency, with offices in New York and Chicago. Doejo is a think tank, startup incubator and production house; successfully launching and marketing over 300 websites and brands for big guys like Umbra, American Mattress, HBO, Lexus, Warner Brothers, Focus Films, Scottrade, as well as startups like Texthog, Cheeky Chicago, and Coin That Phrase. We’re game for helping anyone who’s passionate and motivated. We had plans to send Phil to congress, but we’ll save that one for another day.
Doejo is home to around 30 incredibly talented people, mostly central to Chicago. Our designers, code-smiths, writers, videographers, photographers, and illustrators are the best there are. Drop us a line if you're in the area and would like to stop by the studio for a visit.
Our new studio on 2934 N. Broadway
There's a strip of road between Diversey and Belmont in Chicago, IL USA where you'll find our street-level cafe/studio. We're in the process of renovating the space you might remember as Haystack Vintage, a 4,000 sq ft storefront formerly home to a huge collection of rare finds. We've kept some of the goodies from the old space, including an original Atari console, some old medical prints, a huge robot wall painting and a dozen or so trinkets and such.
