Bow Truss Influencer Tasting: Ryan Beshel’s Bow Tie Blend

“Dress like a CEO and people will think you are,” says Ryan Beshel. This idea was the inspiration for the Bow Tie Blend and is how Ryan lives his life. Whether he’s building press relations at 900 North Michigan or sharing his time with Habitat for Humanity Chicago Youth Board, Ryan knows how to cast a striking look with his signature bow ties.

Since his early time in Chicago with Michigan Avenue Magazine and Agency Galatea, Ryan has become a regular contributor to the social and philanthropic community in Chicago, lending his voice to events like 3 Stops 4 Humanity and weekly podcast “Speaking of Fashion.”

We invited Ryan to join us for a special tasting with manager Talya Strader at the Lakeview Roaster where he learned about the different single origin roasts and blends roasted by Bow Truss. For his signature label, he chose a blend featuring notes of dark chocolate, cherry and peach–perfectly balanced yet complex, just like Ryanhimself. The label features a step-by-step diagram on how to achieve the perfect bow tie. Designed by Doejo’s Rachel Vorm, the label is inspired by vintage diagrams and detailed with hand lettered text.
