Airbnb & Doejo meetup: Airshare Chicago 2012: Books, Bikes, and Beer

San Francisco-based Airbnb—where anyone can rent out their rooms like a bed & breakfast—has teamed up with Doejo to host its Chicago meetup at our future Bow Truss Coffee Roaster space, 2934 N. Broadway, (for those that remember, it’s our old office space).

RSVP Here, invite your friends and see who else is going!

A message from Airbnb community manager, Drew Noble:

Greetings Chicago!

The Airbnb Community Team cordially invites you to attend the biggest meetup yet – AirShare: Books, Bikes, & Beers on Saturday, March 31st at start-up incubator, coworking space, and design agency, Doejo. Celebrate Chicago as a local! Bring your friends, neighbors, significant other, and anyone you think would have a great time. Just make sure they RSVP using this link.

What’s in store:

  • Beer-brewing workshop with Skillshare pro, Felipe Tendick-Matesanz
  • Makeshift bookshelf-building demo (made with household items!)
  • Cross-country biking 101 with Skillshare pro, Miroslav Lysyuk

And some surprises!

What should you bring?

  • Books! Any previously read books for swapping. You’ll even have the chance to leave a review of your books on a special bookmark for its new owner!
  • A few bottles of your favorite beer for a blind taste test with others. The person with the tastiest beer wins a neat prize!
  • Donatable bikes and bike parts. We’ll be sending them off to Working Bikes, a local non-profit whose work gives bikes to underprivileged youth.
