Building a charitable vintage T-shirt shop online: Sleevecandy

If you have the time to pick through racks and racks of old t-shirts, thrift store shopping can be thoroughly rewarding. But what if it was easier?

Thrift store e-comm platform, Sleevecandy actually started out as a Venture Challenge submission at Northwestern University. The idea was to sift through various Chicago-area thrift stores and resell the more interesting, accidently ironic, hipster-chic tees online. And with 30 percent of proceeds going back to the Salvation Army, it’s win-win for all.

Our designers and developers built the site and logo within two months with a hip and friendly aesthetic. Check it out: you can narrow down your search through type of shirt, color, size and price.
