Doejo client BodyShopBids gets $1M in funding to expand

Doejo client BodyShopBids, an online and mobile auto repair finder, just got a ample boost from local venture capitalists, OCA Ventures to expand—to the tune of $1 million in funding.

The Chicago Tribune reported BodyShopBids, which has 275 Chicago area body shops signed up and more than $2.5 million in damage estimates to date, will use the funding towards advertising and launch in the Los Angeles market this year.

When BodyShopBids first started developing in September 2010, Doejo worked with founder Brad Weisberg to build the site and iOS app from the ground up, helping with functionality, user interface, branding and identity
