Hazards Of Being A Web Designer

At Doejo we spend lots of time with our hands on keyboards, tablets or mices and coffees and our eyes glued to screens. No one really thinks of the hazards of the workplace at a web agency or any other computer driven career field. We may not need hard hats to avoid large metal beams or goggles to avoid shards of flying glass, but we still have very serious dangers that need called out, we won’t be silent anymore! (and hopefully you can avoid them too)

Main Dangers:

1. Computer Vision Syndrome or, for short, CVS.  Computer Vision Syndrome occurs when eye muscles are overworked due to constant and frequent refocusing. Some symptoms of CVS may include eye strain, neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches, as well as, blurred vision.

2. Finger Cramping

3. Hot coffee spillage

Its a dangerous and courageous field we have chosen and any others out there in a similar situation, a tip of the hat to you. Here are some helpful videos for conquering and avoiding these two first most common hazards! Take care, we want you around for a while.
