WordCamp 2016!

You might say we’re kind of “into WordPress” here at Doejo. We use it for many client sites, and this very blog you’re reading right now is on a WordPress site. If we had an intra-office basketball game and one team was losing, they would put on the full court WordPress. Our favorite puzzle is a crossWordPress. Our medieval weapon of choice is the sWordPress. I will spare you any further wince-inducing pun attempts as I’m sure you get the idea by now.

So when WordCamp came to Chicago, a number of us eagerly signed up. WordCamp is a traveling conference of sorts, and you don’t have to be a developer nor have specific qualifications to attend. Every hour, there are several different topics discussed in different rooms and attendees pick which ones they want to sit in on. As we Doejo’ers were rolling several deep, we decided to spread out and compare what we learned after each class.

All in all, it was a productive weekend. The cherry on top was all the promo swag.

As you can see, my getup for the day was what some might call “the shameless walking tech billboard” look.
